I love the effect that Brusho Inks give you, and I sprinkled them and then water sprayed them which gives this lovely, mottled effect. The Brusho colours are so vibrant! I layered these squares with black card which had been sprayed gold, and added some butterflies and a message.
I made this Xmas card with a jelly effect in mind, and lm fairly pleased with it. I took some watercolour paper and used texture paste through it to add snowflakes. Once dried I ink sprayed with blues and pinks, and once THAT was dried, covered it with Mod Podge Sparkle! This looked fab and so l layered this with snowflake flowers, and for the central image l mod podged it again. Finished it off with a pink strip with die cut snowflakes across the middle. Mod Podged again , of course! It’s a glistening affair!
One of of my craft buddies on docrafts is Emma Philpot (Trenouth) and she made me a lovely Xmas card last year which lve ‘transcribed’ into my own version, shall we say?!?! Embossed snowflake background on Kraft card which is then inked. Stamped holly is by Sheena Douglas, with clear ink then heat embossed in white before inking. Added robin die cut and greeting. Flower is made of layered, inked snowflakes and a gem.
I made this as a thank you to the surgeon who did my back operation in March’15. He was very pleased to receive a hand made card, which in turn, pleased me! I masked off the central area and then stamped and inked the strip. I then stamped the black image over the top and added die cut message.
