Fairy Lantern

Standard

This is my first fairy Lantern, made for a little girl friend of a friend!

I glued the surface of the jar and stuck tissue paper onto it with Sparkle Modge Podge.  Added gems and black hand and die cut silhouettes.  My next attempt will be a Christmas Lantern! Lit the Lantern using a flickering battery candle. Black ribbon and buttons around the jar rim.

Paper Napkin Candles

Standard

Ive wanted to try making a candle with a pattern made from a paper napkin on it for a while. Heres my first  attampts. Easy to do; peel the lining of the napkin away and wrap the patterned layer around the candle, cover it with wax/greasproof paper, and heat up with your heat gun. Et voila!

Green and a White Christmas

Standard

Another piece of  Papermania paper I embossed a while back and suddenly thought of a use for it. Luckily I had made a frame too, that matched, so I glued them together, and then added a message die cut on white card, embossed it,  and embossed some snowy hills in the foreground.  Embossed the white background card with holly to complete the raised effect. The colours go well together, for a nice clean looking card.

Simple Cream Card

Standard

This card has an embossed snow background laid onto Kraft card.  The tree die overlays the snowy background. The die was kindly given to me by a fellow crafter. Cut, I think on her Cricut machine.  I like this design as its simple but represents peaceful silent snowfall.

Winter Scene

Standard

I inked this paper up a while back with a Stampin Up wood grain stamp, and finally found a use for it.  I added houses from a shop bought card, and the hill dies are from Impression Obssession. These are embossed for a snowy effect. Punched out some silver snowflakes and finished with Xcut Xmas word. Finished it by backing onto silver mirri card. Looks way better in reality than in the photo!
