I bought so many Xmas dies and lm enjoying using them all. Hence the continued obsession with Xmas!! Its still cold and wintry so this helps to keep me in the Xmas mode!
I was inspired to make this card from a Pinterest card I saw. Cut three houses/street dies and layered with foam tape. Matted onto a blue card stock and Santa and message stamped in black on the front.
Hello everyone! Heres my latest card. A mixture of up-cycled die cut trees and deer. I layered them altogether, and added some acrylic snow droplets from Papermania, and bingo! A card that can be used as an every day occasion or a Christmas greeting.
I had this embossed paper in my stash, and die cut some words from a Brusho Inked card, and added them together.
Here I used the whole front of a Christmas card and added the message. A little layering and its done!
Here is another Xmas card made from up-cycled cards l received last Xmas. I used a lovely snowflake background paper from Papermania’s Christmas in the Country paper pack which seems to lend itself nicely to the gold trees, border and message.
Who knows! I may make Christmas cards all year long!!! This card background of wooden planks is from a card, and so is the overlay topper. The 26th die is from my stash, make unknown.
Some of the cards I received for Xmas were so lovely that I just had to up-cycle them!
Here I used two cards, the first layer is a die cut part of a card (with the post box) and the second is an image that went lovely behind it. And the greeting is included in the image! Wa-hey! The background paper is from Papermania’s Mr Smiths Workshop.
Apologies for it being March and Im still showing Xmas cards, but this year Im determined to get all my cards done early for next Xmas! Ha ha!
This is one of my fave tree embossing folders. The trees were then heat embossed. Add some cream embellishments and a heat embossed die cut message and its done! All dies unbranded.
