I saw some lovely cards being made with this Stencil (maker unknown) and thought I would try it for myself. I used ink daubers to create the backgrounds and then stamped onto the card whilst the stencil was still in place. I love the unusual look of the ‘naked’ background!
Here’s two I made from it, using the Stampin Up Beautiful You stamps
I made this card for our dear friend Jenny who is 90 this year. I used the Special Occasions embossing folder, pre inked before embossing, and added the flourishes.
This must be the year for the big birthdays! My eldest sister turned 70, my other sister turned 60, and two of our friends also turn 60! Seems like only yesterday we were in our twenties!
Heres my card for Yvette, Gold Mirri on Silver Mirri card with the numbers depicted in silver. Wasn’t until I stuck it on that I noticed the gold card wasn’t straight! Don’t you hate it when that happens? Argh!! Too late to re position! Hopefully, the recipient wont notice my boob!
Hello again! I bought this beautiful stamp set (StampinUp) and couldn’t wait to try out some sea theme cards.
The first one I’ve layered with the sea stamped onto the card stock to match the top layer with the lighthouse scene.
I used a hill die cut and stamped the sand onto it. Added the lighthouse and grass stamps, with a sea background.
Love the birds flying! I added a string around it, but sadly couldn’t find a little sea themed charm to hang on it! Not sure if it works on its own!!
For the second card l stamped a sandy area with grasses and a lighthouse and birds. The sentiment stamp is unbranded, but l love this script!
