Umbrella Man

Hello again…

For the longest time now I have been making my own backgrounds, which means all my papers mostly just sit in my drawer! Here’s another using water colour paper and distress inks. I inked an acrylic surface (I used a plastic die case cover) and sprayed with water. Then, to coin a popular phrase, ‘smooched’ the acrylic over the watercolour paper. Picking it up and replacing in different areas. I dried each layer using a heat gun, and then I finished it by wet stamping some water spots stamps on one of the cards. I just inked up the stamp and sprayed a little water onto the stamp. I made two cards this way. Hope you like them.

About Denise Fletcher

I have been creating cards for about ten years now, and still get a kick out of it. Ive learnt a lot of techniques along the way that are fun to try! I am a former member of Design Team (2014) which I did for a year and loved it. At the moment I'm just creating for my own pleasure! I create the odd mixed media piece but at the moment it's mainly Cards. I hope you enjoy my work.
