Butterfly

Standard

The first card has an embossed background called Dot Matrix, with a butterfly inked with Brusho Inks which I pressed my stamp into it.  It came up beautifully!   Made the word die cuts with the same ink colours.  Then I made the second card the same way, then layered it, and Im quite pleased with the result.

Angel

Standard

Its amazing how much time it takes just to find the matching papers for a card before you can begin! Finally I managed it and here is the result.  Im really pleased with the design.  I cut the mannequin from XCut Haberdashery dies, and the wings are stamped and cut.

Gelli Print

Standard

This is a Gelli print background with a marbled effect.  Gold embossing powder on edges, and a stamped butterfly from StampinUp with decorative swirls. A mannequin shape for the butterflies body.  Alphabet tiles spell out Flutter By….

Brusho’s Ink Card

Standard

This is a card made with Brusho Inks, which are powders that you wet to bring them alive! (used watercolour paper) I die cut the edges of the paper with Impression Obssession Hill Dies to give the wave shape, and mounted them on foam tape to add dimension.  Added a stamped message in between. I am hoping this will be published in Creativity magazine soon, as a Readers Make, so keep an eye out for me!

Diamond Anniversary

Standard

Bumped into a friend and neighbour and she told me it was her Diamond Anniversary this week, so I quickly made this card for her and hubby.  The heart is on the front of the card (Xcut heart die on glitter paper) and messages are from a shop bought card I just happened to have, for some reason I dont recall….inside is a docrafts embossing folder, middle cut out and Xcut number dies. Now, where to write the message from us to them….hmmmm….!

This is the inside of the card

Gorjuss in the Rain!

Standard

I love this Gorjuss Girl character, and here she is, stamped, paper pieced and coloured, standing in the rain.  This was going to be a Get Well card but ended up being a rainy scene instead…mainly cos there was no room for a message!  I used the Xcut Parenthesis dies for the framing. Ryns waterdrop stamps, and Xcut die grass and birds from the Family Tree die range, also from Xcut.
